DNS - Neustar Expands UltraDNS Global Network Infrastructure to South America

Neustar has expanded its global managed DNS infrastructure to South America by establishing a new UltraDNS network node in Bogota, Colombia.

The new node will enhance Internet browsing for users in Colombia – and the surrounding region – and will help Neustar customers scale their businesses into the rapidly expanding Latin American marketplace.

The UltraDNS infrastructure is the largest and most widely distributed of its kind in the industry, according to Neustar. It was set up about 10 years ago, and it now supports more than 3,000 customers across the globe from a diverse industry portfolio. The infrastructure consists of 16 public network nodes across six continents, with additional private collocated nodes.

The UltraDNS Directory Service Platform is a fully redundant, carrier-grade installation comprised of best-in-class equipment and proprietary, patented technologies.
