DNS - DNS Made Easy Connected to Arbinet's Layer 2 IP Exchange

Arbinet Corporation, a provider of international voice and IP solutions, has announced that DNS Made Easy, a subsidiary of Tiggee LLC, an Internet service system provider, has picked the company for IP Transit multi-homing.

Arbinet (News - Alert) has provided DNS Made Easy the ability to easily connect to multiple Tier 1 ISPs in different locations enabling the company to run a more cost-effective and high performance IP 'any-cast' network. DNS Made Easy has a number of features that greatly simplify management and the service supports templates for groups of DNS records, which makes it possibly to quickly modify records for a block or all domains at once.    

Arbinet’s IP Exchange is based on proprietary platform that offers customers, through one-connection, access to multiple providers simultaneously. There are a number of different service options that customers can choose from, depending on their requirements. One option leverages standard BGP offering IP Transit Multihoming to improve network quality and redundancy.  

In Arbinet case, DNS Made Easy has gained direct access to multiple Tier 1 ISPs without any additional ASN hops through a single connection to Arbinet's Layer 2 IP Exchange and is now able to purchase high quality IP Transit at wholesale rates with the flexibility of a short contract term and no minimum commitment.  

DNS Made Easy can also choose meshed or separate BGP sessions per ISP supplier for redundancy and optimal traffic management and to utilize Arbinet's online portal that allows it to add or change suppliers within minutes, eliminating traditionally long ISP provisioning cycles. 

President of Tiggee LLC and DNS Made Easy, Steven Job has stated that they are committed to one contract, one cross-connect to gain access to multiple Tier 1 IP backbone providers after an evaluation connection with Arbinet.    

Vice President of Data Services at Arbinet, Sue Su added that DNS Made Easy's network required multiple connections to providers across a variety of markets. Arbinet has offered DNS Made Easy a highly scalable and cost-efficient IP solution to help drive optimal network performance.
