DNS: Neustar Partners with Hook Mobile to Provide Enhanced Mobile Giving Experiences

At the GSMA’s (News - Alert) Mobile World Congress, Neustar partnered with Hook Mobile to demonstrate the advance capabilities of Neustar’s Intelligent Cloud service that can be leveraged by charities and non-profits to provide mobile subscribers with an enriched and compelling giving experience. Neustar’s demonstration engaged visitors with innovative services including messaging, Neustar registered 2D barcodes, video and mobile content, with a part of the proceedings going to the National Geographic’s Big Cats Initiative that supports on-the-ground conservation and education efforts to save the world’s big cats.

Using a simplified business model that involves combining services from various mobile industry sectors, Neustar Intelligent Cloud service helps promote innovation while increasing revenue creation. Consequently, companies like Hook Mobile can leverage Neustar’s unique platform to create richer and more differentiated experiences for mobile subscribers across several different networks. In support of National Geographic’s Big Cats Initiative, the Mobile World Congress visitors will be requested to either scan a barcode or send text message and will also enjoy a sneak preview trailer of National Geographic’s “The Last Lions” feature film on their mobile phones. Using this innovative approach to mobile marketing and philanthropy, every demonstration will fuel the funding of the National Geographic Big Cats Initiative.
