DNS: Illinois Department of Transportation Awards Certification to INOC

INOC, an around-the-clock provider of network infrastructure monitoring, reporting and support services, claimed that the Illinois Department of Transportation has awarded it the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Certification. INOC has also been added to the Unified Certification program directory.

INOC is a 24/7 network operations center (NOC (News - Alert)) and claimed that its NOC Service is the result of a collaborative group of industry experts, who leverage their cumulative knowledge, sophisticated software tools and standardized processes to constantly monitor customer’s network health. Its network monitoring services are supposedly a key, cost-effective tool for large-scale government, education and transportation clients with mission critical operations.

According to Illinois Department of Transportation, the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program is a federally mandated program intended to ensure non-discriminatory contracting opportunities for small business concerns owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in the United States Department of Transportation’s (USDOT) highway, mass transit and airport financial assistance programs.

This new certification will help INOC compete more effectively and offer some of its key partners who service Illinois government agencies the added advantage of collaborating with a DBE.

SDI, a partner of INOC acknowledged that with the DBE status of INOC it can meet government minority participation goals while providing exceptional value to customers.

INOC asserted that some of the benefits and features of its 24/7 NOC services are: significant reduction in downtime; immediate management of incidents occurring around the clock; increased productivity and job satisfaction for users’ network and IT support staff; increased end-user/customer satisfaction; and more.

Equipped with state-of-the-art software and technology and a team of experienced support professionals, INOC is able to offer a level of customization that is tailor-made to meet the needs of customers’ infrastructure, staff, and budget.

The Illinois DBE Program complies with the USDOT regulations, 49 CFR Part 26, and is designed to ensure non-discrimination in the award and administration of DOT-assisted contracts.
