American Internet Services Appoints New Chief Financial Officer

With an aim to strengthen its top management layer, western United States’ leading data center and connectivity service provider, American Internet Services (News - Alert) (AIS), recently appointed Kevin O'Hare, an industry veteran in the broadcast/online media, specialty communication, publishing and tech-driven information/data sectors.

As AIS’ new chief financial officer, O'Hare is expected spearhead the company’s growth and expansion plans.

In the span of his career, O'Hare was associated with organizations including ABC News (The Walt Disney (News - Alert) Company), Medimedia USA, Heathology, YP One Publishing and 3E Company. According to AIS, O'Hare has just the right kind of industry experience that is suitable for driving a high growth company like AIS in the right direction.

AIS has seven premium data center footprints in Los Angeles, San Diego and Phoenix. AIS’s unsurpassed security and award-winning redundancy are trusted for both primary and disaster recovery (DR/BCP) colocation setups, cost-effective transit and transport connectivity solutions over fiber, copper and wireless, as well as managed services such as geographic load balancing, Internet firewall security and remote data storage.

O’Hare’s illustrious career in the financial field impresses the company most.

“We were especially impressed that Kevin's finance background also includes operational and general management experience in high growth organizations,” Tim Caulfield, chief executive officer at AIS, explained in a statement.

“His skills are ideally suited for our growth and expansion plans. He is a welcomed addition to the quality management team we are assembling here at AIS,” Caulfield added.

Last month, TMCnet reported that AIS had extended its portfolio of Enterprise Managed Services (EMS) with the addition of a family of Enterprise High Availability (e-HA) services. An addition to the AIS portfolio of Enterprise Managed Services (EMS), e-HA leverages key components in the AIS DR/BC Toolbox and adds state-of-the-art, local and global load balancing technology, to provide performance optimization of mission critical applications and fulfill Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity requirements, the AIS officials explained in a release.
