A new website TheMotorSpecialist.com has been launched by Motion Industries in collaboration with Baldor and U.S. Motors. The 2007 Energy Independence and Security Act also known as EISA went into effect from Dec. 19, 2010. Industrial users will be able to understand the impact and upgrade requirements of EISA with assistance from TheMotorSpecialist.com. Motion Industries is the top distributor of industrial maintenance, repair, and operation replacement parts. Baldor and U.S. Motors are the top motor manufacturers.

Customers should be aware of how the new EISA legislation will affect future motor selection and also support energy efficiency initiatives. The need to provide guidance on this matter was felt by Motion Industries, Baldor and U.S. Motors. A variety of questions have resulted among industry professionals due to the transition to EISA-compliant Premium Efficiency Motors. The industry will be provided with a resource to assess the new legislation’s impact on industrial users in the form of TheMotorSpecialist.com.
