DNS - NetCracker's Multi-Billion Dollar TOMS Expansion Receives Coverage from European Magazine

NetCracker (News - Alert) Technology has recently announced that European Communications Spring 2010 Issue will be giving special coverage to the company. With Andrew Feinberg, NetCracker's President and CEO, gracing the cover of the magazine, the spring issue of the prestigious magazine will devote good many of its pages for bringing the company's recent success story to its readers, through an up and close interview with NetCracker chief.

The company has recently experienced a mega-expansion and the NetCracker CEO in his interview explained the background.

Feinberg said in his interview that NetCracker's parent company, NEC (News - Alert) Corporation, has consolidated its Telecom Operations and Management Systems, or "TOMS," software and services business under NetCracker. These assets, worth over two billion dollars, are enabling the company to expand across all areas of TOMS. This helped NetCracker expand its product line and with an extended footprint in all areas of TOMS, NetCracker is now one of the largest providers of TOMS software and services in the world.

"To say we are excited about the expansion is an understatement. Today NEC sees NetCracker as the best channel and executor for this type of solutions delivery - based on our relationships, track record, and in-house expertise. As the President and CEO of NetCracker, I can tell you that it is a very humbling experience to announce this level of growth so soon after our merger with NEC. It demonstrates our parent company's confidence in us and also underscores our unmatched record of success," Feinberg stated in the interview.

Feinberg suggested that this expansion of NetCracker may translate into reduced cost as well as risk for the operators in a tight economy.

"The expansion at NetCracker means we are able to help operators undergo transformation with less financial and technological risk than ever before - to enable transformation in a more conservative economy," Feinberg commented.

In the article, Mr. Feinberg also discussed about the motivating factors that made this growth and expansion possible for the company. The NetCracker CEO said that the impetus for the large part came from the increasing demand among operators who are looking to buy solutions from one trusted partner in order to reduce integration costs and compatibility issues in transformation projects.

"I believe that with NEC's background as a service enabler in the world's most innovative market, and as a pioneer in business transformation for the world's leading carriers, we can provide an unparalleled level of expertise, scale, and scope to become the one partner that carriers really need," Feinberg explained.

NetCracker boasts of an impressive client list that includes some of the world's largest operators. Among its customers are Deutsche Telekom, DiGi, du, France Telecom group, Intelsat (News - Alert), Maxis, MTS, NTT Communications, NTT DoCoMo, Swisscom, Sprint, Telecom New Zealand, Telstra, TELUS, TW Telecom, UPC, and VimpelCom.
